A small studio that takes big systems seriously

Ikhlas IT was founded on a simple frustration: good products kept failing on infrastructure nobody was accountable for. We build the unglamorous layer properly — so your product never has to think about it.

Our story

From three servers to a full engineering practice

We started in 2017 with a single VPS, a freelance client who could not keep their site online, and a stubborn belief that infrastructure should be boring. That first server is still running — and so is the belief.

Today the studio is eleven engineers across backend, data, DevOps, automation, web and mobile. We deliberately stay small enough that the people who scope your project are the same people who ship it, and the person who answers your phone at 2 a.m. is one of ours.

The first server

One client, one VPS, one emergency. We fixed the site, wrote the runbook, and started the studio the following month.

2019

Backend & data practice

Our first real-time platform needed an event backbone. We adopted Kafka and Redis, wrote the runbooks, and never went back.

2021

Infrastructure & automation team

CI/CD and DevOps became a standalone practice after our third 3 a.m. incident. Everything we build now ships through a pipeline.

2023

Product work — mobile and web

Clients stopped asking us to just keep the lights on and started asking us to ship. Flutter and WordPress practices opened.

2025

Automation as a product

n8n and Zapier engagements grew into the fastest part of the studio. We started turning client workflows into reusable products.

2026

Eleven engineers, three products in build

Atlas Event Mesh, Flowforge and DeployGuard are in development — our own tools, built to the same standard we apply to client work.

What we believe

Six rules we do not bend

These have survived every project that tried to argue with them.

You own everything

Repositories, servers, domains, cloud accounts. Created under your organisation, handed over with documentation, never held hostage.

Boring on purpose

We choose the technology your next hire already knows. Clever is not a feature; a system a stranger can debug at 3 a.m. is.

Boring promises, kept

Fixed scope, fixed date, written down. If we are going to miss, you hear it from us before you hear it from a customer.

Small on purpose

Eleven people. No account managers, no junior work outsourced to a bench. The senior engineer on your call is the one writing the code.

Leave the team stronger

Every engagement ends with documentation, pairing and a runbook. We measure success by whether we can walk away.

Work anywhere

Distributed by design since 2017. Overlapping hours with four time zones, async-first written communication, no standing meetings.

How we work

From first call to handover, in six steps

No mystery process. The same shape on every engagement, from a two-week automation build to a six-month platform.

1 · Free consultation

Thirty minutes, no cost. We ask about users, deadlines and constraints — and tell you honestly if we are the wrong studio.

2 · Architecture sketch

A one-page diagram, the trade-offs spelled out, and what you can safely skip. Delivered within three working days.

3 · Fixed-scope quote

Line-itemed estimate, milestone plan and a named delivery lead. The price you sign is the price you pay.

4 · Two-week increments

Working software every two weeks, demoed live. Every merge is behind CI, behind review, behind a preview environment.

5 · Launch & hardening

Load testing, security scan, monitoring and alerting, backups tested by restoring them. Then a real cutover, not a big-bang weekend.

6 · Handover & support

Runbook, architecture doc, pairing sessions and thirty days of support. Then retainer, takeover — or a clean goodbye.

The crew

Eleven engineers. Zero account managers.

Everyone here writes code. Here are the eight you will meet first.

IH

Ihsanul Haque

Founder · Principal Engineer

Fifteen years across distributed systems and payments. Sets architecture, owns the on-call rotation and still reviews every pull request.

TN

Tanvir Nasir

Lead Backend · Kafka & Redis

Built our streaming playbook. Kafka, Redis and the unglamorous data plumbing that makes dashboards feel instant.

SF

Sadia Farhana

DevOps · CI/CD & VPS

Owns our deploy pipeline and the hardening checklist every server passes before it touches production traffic.

AR

Arif Rahman

Automation Engineer · n8n

Turned 120 hours of monthly manual reporting into a single self-hosted workflow. Rarely seen without a webhook diagram.

MK

Mehedi Karim

Full-Stack · PHP & WordPress

Took a 4.8-second storefront down to 1.1 seconds and made it editable again. WordPress whisperer, reluctantly.

NS

Nusrat Sultana

Mobile Lead · Flutter

Shipped nine production Flutter apps and the release pipeline behind them. Obsessed with sub-second cold starts.

RB

Rafiul Bhuiyan

QA & Release Engineer

Writes the tests that catch the 3 a.m. bug and builds the pipeline that refuses to ship without them.

SA

Sadia Afrin

Client Partner

Your first call and your weekly report. Keeps scope honest and makes sure nobody is surprised by an invoice.

Careers

We hire slowly and train relentlessly

We are always happy to talk to backend, DevOps, automation and mobile engineers who care about production. We do not run take-home tests longer than two hours, and we pay for any exercise we ask for.
